Do you mean the maf in the air intake pipe? If so I have unplugged that before and took it for a drive, it made no difference whatsoever

I actually own a snap on modis ultra scanner. I have scanned it but it gave no fault codes, I ran live data and from what I could see everything appeared to be functioning correctly. The egr valve has already been removed. How difficult is it and what parts would be required to remove the whole edc?

Hi all, thought I'd give a bit of an update. So far here is whats been checked / repaired / replaced..... air filter fuel filter oil filter oil sedimenter cleaned injectors fuel pump intercooler intake manifold air intake hoses MAF boost solenoid turbo and guess what, I still have the same...

What's the best product for cleaning out the intercooler? I've removed the pipes and they don't seem too bad but thought I might as well put something in the intercooler and flush it through whilst I've got the pipes off

I'll check the turbo blades today, I'll also remove the intercooler and pipe work and give it all a good clean out. Fingers crossed I find the culprit as I really don't want to part with the car but I need something fully functional quickly as this was meant to be our daily car

I'll check that today, although when the hoses were off I could hear the turbo whistling away and I can't hear the turbo at all with the hoses attached

The transmission does kick down. The engine speed isn't higher though, I presume you mean like a slipping clutch?

Had all hoses off, took it for a drive, no difference at all, all hoses cleaned out and refitted, still no different. Any further suggestions?

Thank you, I'll check all the hoses tomorrow as it's currently pouring it down, I'll update tomorrow once I've done them, I'll also remove them and take the car for a drive as suggested and see if it's any better

Which are the air intake hoses? One thing I did find odd was when I opened the air box to replace the filter there wasn't one in there
