Thanks for that. Funnily enough I have just fitted the part you suggest. I had hoped to be able to warm it with a heat gun to shape it a bit better but its obviously pretty tough stuff and not willing to bend. I have managed to fit it but haven't filled with fuel yet to see how well sealed it...

Back to the drawing board. Rimmer says its unavailable and despite saying its been superceded dont have an alternative.

Afternoon all, I'm wondering what RRC owners are using for filler neck rubber tubing when your originals perish? My hose is 71mm diameter at the tank end and 42mm diameter at the neck end and approx 250mm long. Its on a 1989 2 door. I can't seem to find a supplier here in the UK. Any help...

Hi folks, I have been adjusting the bonnet on my 1989 RRC and have given it a half turn too much! The bonnet is now stuck shut and I can't open in the usual way. Grateful for any advice as to how to rectify the situation. The grill is of course in situ so not easy to access. Thanks In anticipation

Thanks for that, Someone else indicated the lack of spoilers on the VM's was due to cooling issues. This one now has a 300Tdi so no worries with that issue now. Cheers

Not boring Norseman and as aj1954 said, important info if originality is a concern. My 1989 2 door is not very original. It was LHD now RHD with a VM replaced by a 300Tdi. TBH I was given the spolier and think the vehicle is missing something without one, plus I can have additional driving...

Evening all, I've got a 1989 RRC which I'm trying to get a few things sorted on. Ive been given a front lower spoiler to house the fog lights but am not sure what size the captive bolts are on the bumper. Does anybody know? My suspicion is they are not metric so possibly 3/8 or 7/16 UNF...
