Exactly as Anaconda says. Go to a decent (recommended by a friend or on here) local independent. You'll get a much more sensible number and list of things to do.

Then of course they will big up any job that may or may not need doing at a labour rate of £200+ per hr. Most people dont take a 13 year old car to a main dealer. You need to find an independent who has knowledge on Freelanders, you may find it...
