Nope, I have No I have not. I just watched a video on how to do it. I am thinking of ordering shims if I have to do this. I am guessing I would need them? Why does this happen? Is it because over time the shims compress and thin out?

Try to rebuild it though, perhaps you can find a rebuild kit. Or possibly send it in for reconditioning, should be cheaper

I am looking to install a Traction Control Switch? I have a Nanocom so not worried about clearing the fault when it's turned on. Looking to tap into the ABS+TC Fuse. Can anyone provide a step-by-step safe setup for this and parts I would need?

Very Interesting, I was going to drop it at 200,000km to give it a flush. I will note this and check when I do so. It is a very aggressive overfill, as if the diesel is boiling in the tank. I was thinking maybe a piece of the snapped old...

I read on here many years go that TD5s start on 4 cylinders rather than 5, and then the ECU lets no. 5 injector start releasing fuel. Also, no. 5 cylinder doesn't have a glowplug, which might have something to do with this design feature. So I...

I know there is only 4 glow plugs, but starting on 4! To the op, remove the air filter trunking and have a listen when you start it.
