I find it hard to believe that it's an faulty connection or something similar as the power falls off at exactly the same rpm speed every time.

OK thanks for your help. I have read resistance across the lift sensor so I know its not open circuit and also I see readings from the sensor on the fault code reader, but all the time at 2800 rpm the power backs off, strange one this one!

Hi, I didn't like the condition of the connector on the lift sensor so I directly soldered it. My code reader gets continuous reading but this is only at idling (not tried it driving yet). Are they still available as a part and are they easy to change? Thanks Lee.

Hi, I should have started by saying the the juddering has disappeared after fitting a new MAF sensor. The car now runs fine but still keeps logging the fault after a journey. yes I can see the live data from both sensors. cheers Lee.

Hi, thank you for your reply. The connector did look bad so I cut it out and as much wire as i dare and soldered it back together. But unfortunately the fault still comes back after a few minutes drive. Could it be the actually injector at fault or is there another connector I could check...

I though that the car had to read the key to unlock the ignition? There are many YouTube videos that show a work round to unlock the ignition on a one time hit, but it doesn't work on my car.
