Turns out wasnt turbo filter was full of sand

hi there i have a 300tdi defender 90 and its just started loosing power at certain revs in each gear it make a funny noise from the turbo then seams like i have no turbo and is just a desil almost as if its hitting a limiter didn't think it had one just seams as though the turbo switches itself...

hi there any help aprecatied i have a 1996 300tdi and all of a sudden it takes ages to crank over and fire ive fitted it with a new battrey still the same also in 3rd and 4th i get a sort of juddering / vibration any ideas would be great thanks dan

no not yet on the list of things to do is it worth me takin the box apart to find out whats wrong or just getting it fixed or findidng another box thanks dan

Have now taken gearbox out and when turning the input shaft I have no drive from the output shaft would you say this is the intermeidate gear drive or could there b another reason also theres no crunching or grinding Any advice apprecatied thanks dan

how should they look? and would them being loos/ in the wrong place make the clutch stick open?

clutch is depressing as normal and returning to the normal height

no it reversed fine it was when i pressed the clutch changer into first went to pull away and nothing doent sound like the slave will try it though but looks more like im dropping the box out and having a look at the clutch ect

clutch pedel feals like normal not solid or right to the floor soft and can change gear with engine running and no clutch but still no drive its almost like the clutch is stuck open would this happen with the slave cylinder/pipe or wold it stay shut so ide have to crunch it into gear with the...

has been used 4 my daily drive 4 the last year i took it out on sailsbury plane on wednesday then thursday evening it went pulled up on the drive reversed of then went to pull away and no drive

all gearlinkege feals fine just like normal and so does the clutch peadel everything feals like it should but just no drive

yes lol have tried hi and lo box and in diff lock and absoulty nothing all 5 gears and reverse its a 300tdi and i was thinking either gearbox is fooked or clutch is stuck open so no drive any ideas
