I got told there is a receiver unit in the headling rear of the sunroof? My leaks so that could of possibly got wet🤷 the car finally unlocks and i put the key in the ignition the immobiliser symbol comes up on the dashboard and wont let me turn it on

Thank you, the issue is have when it finally unlocks and I put the key in the door the immobiliser symbol comes on and wont turn it over. Other issue i have is it wont always lock and unlock its so temperamental. So just trying to rule stuff out...
