    petrol gauge not working

My first landy had a duff petrol gauge it turned out to be the sender unit in the tank. Cost about £15 and 15 minutes to fix but i did need to bend the float arm slightly so it gave a true reading. Good luck.

Help please, 109, no dip beam or horn.

I had this problem with mine, like the others say its the switch contacts. Get a new switch in, and make up a new earth wire and you should be sorted. I accidently shorted all mine out again while replacing the switch so be careful.. They are real easy to change just two bolts/screws to the...

    Series 3 Winch recommendations?

Have a look at Winches and winch Solutions for all your winches and winch accessories their advert in LRO says they sell series winch bumpers. They do a load of different packages so should be able to sort you out. Hope this helps.......

    Door Mirror

Just spray it up with WD40 or similar for a few days in advance, I used the biggest phillips screwdriver I have with a spanner on the end for extra persuasion. Mine came out easy enough, and because the bottom hinge is still attatched you should not have any problem with alignment. You can get...

    Door Mirror

I assume you mean the defender style mirror, when fitting these to a series you need to fit defender top hinges. I bought a series mirror kit from paddock and the mirrors and hinges were in a bundle together. Hope this helps. If you mean the series style mirrors with the oval heads I cannot...

    Wolf wheels on a Lightweight...

Yeah the wolf wheels will bolt straight on to your lightweight, and in my opinion are one of the best looking wheels to have on one. But there may be a slight problem with your wheel studs being long enough. As your landy had spacers fitted it may already have longer studs fitted. Hope this...

    Speedo for 7.50 tyres?

Hey Tom Bola, As far as I know all LWB were fitted with 7.50 tyres so if it came out of one it should be right. You are right about the numbers on the front at the bottom of the speedo face, I dont know which is which but I will check both of my shorties and if the number is the same in both I...

    BritPart Parabolics

I have got two SWB landys one has british springs parabolics, and the other has bearmach blue ones. Neither of mine has this problem, something is wrong somewhere. Did you loose fit the springs first then drop it on to its wheels to torque them up...? It seems very strange, you need to get on to...

    750x16

Been outside and fitted a wolf rim to my Landy. The thread comes almost to the end of the nut but not quite. Must be around 80-90% through, I am not sure what the law says about it. I would probably drive mine like it because my 8spokes are a bit thicker than the standard wheels. I have had no...

    750x16

I have got some wolf wheels that I only bought for the tyres. I have heard that they need longer studs. In the morning I will get the hi-lift out and fit one to my landy and I will let you know what the studs look like.....

    2.25 Petrol Overheating.....

Hey chaps, got a bit of a problem with my series 3. It keeps on overheating, I took the thermostat out and the problem still persists. I had the head off today and all was fine with it, so I think I might be looking at a new radiator and hoses or possibly a water pump. Anyone else had a similar...

    series tyres

Yep the deestones are great, got mine fitted a month ago. I went to a pay and play and never got stuck once. Some people say they can be a bit dodgy in the wet. But I have not been out in the rain yet so can't comment.....

    Petrol Additive

Hello mate I use the Castrol leadmaster lead replacement additive in my series its a little expensive but it does the job. Are you using just the cleaner or a proper lead replacement? I think that eventually you will need to get the seats done. My valve clearance's are always closing up. Good Luck
