It's not the locking and unlocking causing the battery to get low. The car stays awake for 30 minutes after single locking, and 10 minutes after double locking. That's what pulls the battery down over time. When these are being serviced at LR...

New resevoir arrived yesterday 🙂

Did you buy a new reservoir? There is a small filter fitted in it - if it’s not been changed for a good time, it’s worth switching it for a new one when you change the fluid.

You can always file a bit off the BDL if you loose power top end

I think it is the latter of the two. I think I will pull the "custom needle" and put a standard BDL in there.
