Oh, I’ll see what that’s like when I get there haha! Made some panels to reattach the wheel arches to the inner wings and tacked them on today. Structural integrity is slowly returning! I’ve been using gasless MIG wire for this. I’ve not used this before; as I’m working on the front garden...

Nah, both the pipes have snapped off right where they come out the pump body so there’s nothing to push a pipe onto.

Got down to it today for a bit. Started by wire brushing and painting chassis top re in Bilt-Hamber. This stuff is what I’ve used for my Mini and it’s pretty good, goes purple then black as it works on the rust. Then made some little panels to tack the wheel arches to the inner wings as they...

I’m not sure if they’re the end pieces, the bits DippyPud was on about earlier is what I was wondering about. https://froggatts.co.uk/product/z-plate-repair-panel/ Also is this the right z piece?

https://froggatts.co.uk/product/sill-end-caps-and-floor-supports-discovery-1-2-and-range-rover-classic-right-hand/ Are these the tapered bits? What is the Z panel which ties the boot floor to the rear crossmember?

Ah thats kind of you! I think I’ve found my mojo again now. I’m planning on having a bloody good crack at it when I’m on half term last week of May, that should give me time to get stuff done. Been really busy with other commitments (3 other family cars, kids, music stuff, life!) so a few days...

I haven’t made any progress on it for a while, lots of “real life” getting in the way unfortunately. I’m actually considering selling it and letting someone else continue the work… possibly around £1500…? Don’t know if I’m ever going to get round to finishing it and I’d rather someone else...

Yeah was a lucky find. I need a load more repair panels though, prob from Frogatts as posted on my thread.

Tapered bits? Reckon I’m going for this little lot, needs rear body mounts and the front light box too.

Yeah it’s not ideal is it…! Reckon I’m going to spending some cash at Frogatts as they do body mount repair sections and sill.

Got out at it again today, meant to start wire brushing chassis but I’m going to wait till I’ve got some Bilt Hamber to paint it with. I did however make the mistake of investigating the floor by the seats. Prodding revealed a somewhat rotten body mount and dodgy sills! Looks like I’ll be...

The panels look ok, they were secondhand actually, off eBay! Someone whose Disco had been written off before he got round to fitting them. Have used YRM before and will prob use them for the other bits I need.

I can’t seem to find a replacement panel for where the rear of the floor attaches to the door step, does anyone know what I’m looking for? The rear crossmember is pretty solid so I’m not planning on replacing that.
