Oh, I’ll see what that’s like when I get there haha! Made some panels to reattach the wheel arches to the inner wings and tacked them on today. Structural integrity is slowly returning! I’ve been using gasless MIG wire for this. I’ve not used...

Nah, both the pipes have snapped off right where they come out the pump body so there’s nothing to push a pipe onto.

Offside had been repaired but only finished in primer. The result was it was rusty and the repair around the bottom wasn’t too nice most of it was usable. I cut out what I didn’t like which also gave me access to epoxy the mount area. Lots of...

Always an awkward repair but more so when you’ve got to ensure it doesn’t knock out your lining up across the rest of the repairs. Test fitting is a must. Takes longer but I don’t want to find I’m out on my boot floor which would then knock on to...

Got down to it today for a bit. Started by wire brushing and painting chassis top re in Bilt-Hamber. This stuff is what I’ve used for my Mini and it’s pretty good, goes purple then black as it works on the rust. Then made some little panels to...

What you after? Those are just sill caps that go on each end. The z is literally a 2 inch wide z that spans the floor rear door and goes ontop of the cross member. I’ll get you some pics in morning if you need more These tie your arch to the...

I’m not sure if they’re the end pieces, the bits DippyPud was on about earlier is what I was wondering about. https://froggatts.co.uk/product/z-plate-repair-panel/ Also is this the right z piece?

https://froggatts.co.uk/product/sill-end-caps-and-floor-supports-discovery-1-2-and-range-rover-classic-right-hand/ Are these the tapered bits? What is the Z panel which ties the boot floor to the rear crossmember?

More alignment work. What a tricky job that was. I made a z plate for the rear floor and rivnutted the seat nuts in. From there it got tricky! You can see why. You’d think the z plate was bent. It wasn’t - the floor rise was. So I made a...

A bloody fiddly job. Angles, twists and tiny pieces. You can see that the crossmember is supposed to be sandwiched between inner and outer skin. I wonder how many actually do this as you have to chop off a bit more than you’d want to. My pencil...
