Off the top of my head I cannot tell you the colours, but you need a 12+ve from the fuse box to the switch which comes on with the ignition, then run a wire from the other contact on the switch to the light bulb and you also need to run an earth...

Morning! I'm fitting a new stereo and the switched 12v only comes up with o.5v max, not enough for the stereo to recognise... Other 12v stuff is working OK, is there any specific area to look at? Cheers!
