Thank you so much for your advice and support I will do as you and John has suggested and keep monitoring it. Can you tell me what the PCV filter is ? I have recently changed all the oils and oil / air filters and the oil cooler but not sure about the PCV filter ?

There was a creamy substance on the inside if the expansion cap, but since I've flushed it with just about everything it's nowhere near as bad but time will tell. There is no creamy stuff on the oil filler cap and never has been

Many thanks hippo I appreciate the help, so I understand I disconnect the lower pipe on the expansion tank that goes to the pump, then block the outlet nozzle on the tank. Then ?? At this point im a bit lost sorry. I did try directing the return pipe to the tank into a bucket and kept topping up...

Wow ive got a long way to go then ! Im gonna try a tester this week just to see if there are any fumes in the expansion tank that might point to a head gasket but hope its the oil cooler ive re placed
