Help, thought I was being so clever and was really pleased with myself for managing to change the bearing in the tensioner pulley. Trouble is I cant put the belt back on because it just wont lift. The nut is getting knackered and if i turn it clockwise, the stud unscrews with it! Any suggestions...

I got mine in ok, just trim a tiny bit off the metal of the cut-out you made in the dash left or right so it slots in exactly inbetween the vents. 20 mins to fit my foot-took me that and many times more to read instructions, look up old landrover magazines and pluck up courage to do it!
