Ok thanks for the input guys, all fixed now. New tensioner and belt changed the fuel cooler seals and that's leak free. Runs upto temperature fine with no issues. Also bought some heavy duty clamps for the water pipes have yet to fit those but it's on the list of jobs.

Ill get some O rings ordered for the fuel cooler and some stronger clips for the water pipes that should sort the leaks.

They are 265 75 16, they are fitted to modulars with a 35mm offset, they catch the wheel spats on articulation on the back and I have also noticed that they hit the rear tub when articulating a lot.

I have 265 75 16 insa dakars on my series, I do have super wide offset wheels. The tyres make a lot of road noise that's my only comment really

Personally if I had both available I would fit the 200tdi into the series simply because I have done it and it's brilliant with the discovery differentials in the series axles. However depending on how you want to use it a standard series 3 is also a brilliant vehicle and for occasional use...

No problem, when I get to move the pas box I'll make sure I get some photos. Picked up some defender disc parts from a mate this weekend and picked up a vented disc from john craddocks. Planing to make a bracket to mount the caliper similar to a defender obviously not on the casting...

The pas box was from a discovery 1. It works really well but the drop arm does catch the spring when turning right during articulation. I plan to remove it and move it up a couple of inches so it doesn't catch anymore.

As for the headlining. The hard top was from another vehicle that already had the lining fitted before I got it. It seems to be office style carpet just glued in place.

The garage doesn't suffer from mould it has a nice green coating this year but that just wipes off.

I have been contemplating a gearbox rebuild. It doesn't seem to technical... But the only thing putting me off was the time required it was looking easier to let someone else rebuild it and pay the labour costs. However I will look into it I'm rebuilding a v8 so a gearbox may as well join the list.
