Should have specified that I have a P38 2.5 DSE

Hi, I have developed a soft EAS fault, car was leaning for a few days but now seems to be level again. Anyone near by got a diagnostic tool I could use please? Would be most appreciated. Ian

I haven't found the EAS to be too bad really. Had a few issues but solved them by buying affordable service kits for the compressor and valve block. Check a site run by a guy called PaulP38, he has a great guide to servicing certain parts. Like someone said earlier, the EAS gets a lot of grief...

Right you all were. I cleaned and dried underneath the rubber gator and there was no leak. Enlisted the help of a friend and we drove out all the air. The life of an amateur is a frustrating one let me tell you Thanks chaps

Yep, the large central bolt did not need to come off, just the six smaller around the outside

No more vibration than a 20 year old diesel should have. I tightened all the bolts back up, didn't use RAVE though.

So I stripped the front end down today and removed said part. It was in a pretty bad way as far as the rubber was concerned! Anyway, I don't have the money to replace it so I just welded it into one whole piece and now the rattle has gone. Thanks a lot for the help folks
