My dad put those seals on his 2a (not the genuine ones) and we had to wedge a shovel between vent and bonnet to shut them lol!! Soon the will go hard and not spring out so much fingers crossed!!!

Hi all just thought I keep you informed how my landy was taking shape, I just replaced the driver side corner where the door hinge is just got to fill and paint it, plus the door shuts better lol

Hi all I'm after where to get a lhs wiper arm I manged to get one from a s3 chromed but it's too long.... I have the 2 individual wiper motors so the arms are about 1-2inches shorter any ideas where to purchase Cheers again Dan

Could it be the solenoid stuck? As it got short it's welded it self to n/o position happens a lot with contactors....

One wire from the sender and one wire from the voltage stabiliser ( gets the neg from the sender as the chassi is perminately neg)

There is only 2 wires and I have swooped them round and it made no difference lol

I have a series 2 1959 and mine has seperate side light and indicator, unless mines been upgraded/newer wings put on at some point??

Put a fuel gauge in today and it's reading back wards I empty it and it reads full and then put 20 ish litres in and it reads 3/4s full (or 1/4 full if reading correctly lol) so I know its reading ok but the backwards thing what's that? Cheers

Nice and easy what oil do you all use for your landys, my dad swears by the halfords classic car oil as it says it swell up any seals!!! Any mine is ready for it oil change and wonder what your all using. Cheers
