I thought it was just an interference fit. Clean and stuff into the groove. You could go crazy with tiger seal if you wanted to, but the next person to change the seals will hate you

Yep you will need a new cover.
Remove pump off the rear of the transfer box & there may be a gear you need to remove as well.
You may need a diffent out put gear depending on the above.
Just for the record, I think I figured out what the interior lighting contact is used for, it is (cpupd be) the constant plus. In case of 13 pin sockets, 7 pin sockets don't have one. Either way, I might just use it as a constant plus, saves me...
Got the 90 back from the MoT. It passed but has a couple of advisories. A rear shock is misting slightly, a rear wheel bearing has slight play, the fuel lift pump is showing signs of weeping and the bulkhead outriggers will need welding. It’s got...
As far as I'm led to believe it's positive pressure so this shouldn't be the case. Only other things I could think of relating to this were that the wastegate is seized from being parked up and not opening fully, or the pipe I fitted is...
Blocked fuel pipe/pick up?
Could also run but would not pull top gears. Fitted an override pump(was on racer) & this would pull more fuel than the standard lift pump. Piece of wood in pipe had gone up it,fitted a series gauze on the pipe after

No good for me on my 1994 300tdi, I think the axle is a replacement (Disco ?) by the PO/renovator.
Anyone need...
1949 S1 knock on metal type
Early disco
Both are knock on,not measured or removed to check further.
They look the same size(my theory is wheel stubs are all the same design/size for most years) unless you got HD with bigger shafts
Ah, well. I'm of an age where we didn't wear seatbelts. I'm also into classic cars where if your pride and joy is over a certain age, it need not have seat belts fitted. So I'm still riding around (perfectly legally) with no seat belt. Think...
I was going to go for half a Wispa but in light of your startling claim may need to have further discussion with my LZLawyer4U. I just hope @MGT is ready for this and isn't just ignoring it. ;) 😁
