Cheers guys! Thanks for the input, turned out it where indeed the engine mounts that took a hit with all the roads here (unfortunately not on stock). CV joints checked and regreased. So good to continue at least with some vibrations :)

The dash display will be a part shared between petrol and diesel models.
This could cause confusion because the petrols probably still have the MIL there with the MIL icon, but it isn't used. Additionally confusing because it has the ODB-11...
You could try removing the prop and see what difference it makes.
Check the tyres, make sure they are all at the same PSI and see if there is any uneven wear.
God knows I don't want to tempt fate but I think (hope, pray) I have sorted the lumpy idle and smoke on my niece's freelander 1 td4.
What I did was replace crankcase breather assembly so i knew i was getting a new valve as well as vortex...
Fitted new Moog front roll bar bushes and HD drop links. Time elapsed? 15 minutes a drop link, 30 minutes cleaning and fitting the bushes. Oh forgot, an HOUR to get ONE of the 10mm bush retainer screws out of the subframe!! Another 5 minute...
