It was a Nissens one from 10, maybe 12 years ago.
Looking at the prices those ally Direnzo ones are near enough the same price as aftermarket. My concern is it is only 2 core and someone on here once said the Land Rover original ones were 4...
Head overtemp alarm went off on the way home but needle bang on 12 o'clock. Reversed into the drive to clouds of white steam - sh1t! Radiator cracked along the top and ****ing coolant. That's a Nissens one that has been on maybe 10 years.
P38, front side wing indicator lens was cracked and looked a bit shabby. Got a used unit that had green gunk inside it, as I was trying to wash it out the clear lens dropped off the unit. Removing and Replacing the whole unit , which is what is...
I did read somewhere about the idea of the coolant tank being split past way up, coolant drops to that level and no further. I don't think that's the case here though. When i checked the other day and took the cap off the whole area looked dry...
Actually no.
More like a hose/connection that lets water out at the higher pressure (when full to level) but wont leak at the lower pressure (when level is low).

Went take some pics of that stashed p38 I been thinking about. Building next to it has either been hit by a lorry or exploded, all covered in police tape, p38 is gone it’s just a space of no grass with two drag marks. Take it she didn’t survive 🥲...
Have a look down the side of the oil filter housing see if there's water in the V, I bought one those vacuum filling kits off eBay for another job and there's a pump in to pressurise the system that's how I found my leak turned out to be the stat...
Yep Turns out the new hose was not reinforced, so it expanded then contracted every time. This caused a small hole to get bigger and bigger until it ended in a slit about 21/2 inches long and hence the wheezy noise
Always nice when a fix goes to plan. That happened to me, once! It was about 10 years ago, the windscreen washer stopped working.. i topped up the fluid and it started working again!! 🥳
No power going up hills and slopes and a whooshing noise coming from turbo. Outlet hose had split. New hose fitted and full boost now back. :vb-bouncy2: 👍 👍
I suspect those tank O rings may have never been changed since new. When I replaced the pipework a few weeks ago, I probably disturbed them and that's when they started leaking...
He had a lot going on in life last we spoke. Not good stuff either. Not exactly the type to flounce is he but we all need a break from time to time. I have tried to contact him few times previously with no response
Or he’s still mad at Broke...
There is one of those newish MG SUV type things around here and the owner has bought all the individual letters to spell out
M O R R I S G A R A G E S across the bonnet. That's a lot of letters, goes almost edge to edge across it.
Quite tempted to change the L322 to say RAGE ROVER.
Would be apt as f*** around Oxford with all the pedestrians/scooters/bikes that just go straight in front of you like it's your responsibility to look out for their safety.
