If that black wire isn't tied up properly it can foul on the window mechanism and break inside. All 3 microswitches need to be working for the EKA input. Boot grounds through the centre one. There's a test sheet on here somewhere.

Given that it's a 1995 car, and might have an earlier BECM, it's probably worth trying Kieth's settings. Disable both Immo & EKA using diagnostic, and then make sure you successfully write settings. Then lock & unlock the car using the FOB...

I've been thinking.. as you do.. we think of cheap parts that don't last long as false economy.. but when you add it up using man math.. it's not been on long enough to seize up so easier to replace 🤔

The P38 often does more than the owner is willing to try, As does the L322. They are pretty capable, when they work:oops:. Dont worry the ground will turn slimey and the fender will get its camo back :D. J

How much pressure ? The tank should generally be from 120-140psi when it's full. If the compressor is tired (usually from feeding a leak somewhere), the tank will never fill, and you will get apparently random faults as the ECU tries to...

I think @ovalandrover did this swap to one of his. Some of the HP24 boxes are supposed to be a straight swap but I think the general opnion on here is that some need the input and oil pump assembly swapped over. Never tried it though.

Pull the EAS relay locateed under the passenger seat after you stop and see if it drops all round or just one corner. It sounds like the compressor is feeding a leak so it is not going to last long unless the leak is fixed.
