I bought a 90 turbo diesel some time ago have the log book etc but someone has ground off the VIN of the chassis vehicle is all straight and had police double check it because it raises concerns with and all is ok, but does anyone know a way of reading the number using acid or something like...

Go onto google and type in "defender dash" its a panel that sits above the area you mention its about 50 squids but has slot for switches and guages etc its very smart if i can find the link I will send it on Graham
