Hi a mate has a 2004 discovery 2 when you drive off just the traction light gos on and applys front left brake no faults come up on the dignostic computer but if u manage to pull a fuse and get the abs light on itl drive fine also noticed the modulator makes a noise even if its locked and keys...

right put it to a local ex dealer now a lr serivce garage and they think injector not showing any faults but cylinder 2 showing running rougher does this sound right? i thought it would show up if there was a fault!?

his failed to start turned out he had a duff maf sensor after doing injector wiring so mabie theres oil in ecu or plug could need cleaning better?

the injector harness i took off was oily the one i got of a pal was clean could it be possible with the amount of oil in wiring that could affect it?

it was realy clean in plug like it been replaced before but guess its worth a shot

yea my pal changed his and it did not fix problem his so tryed his old one just runs the same did have oil in red plug of ecu but cleaned it out best i could

did a hawkeye live data check and theres no messurement of airflow and only 0.03v so thinking this could be the problem fuse was ok how much power should there be there? thanks

fitted a egr delete kit this morning and nothing diffrent sending out blue black smoke! cleened ambiant air pressure sensor to it was gunked up but no changes fault code reader still says abt maf sensor but surely 2 cant be duff but going to try them on a mates td5 discovery later

did get another airflow sensor off ebay genuine second hand runs same with it and if its unplugged! will look for ambiant pressure sensor in the morning and post findings tomorrow thanks

well found out why there was diesel geting in the sump one seal was fitted wrong and finaly on the road but other problems now! darn thing!!!
