No, it has been professionaly diagnosed as HG.. Fortune 4x4 definately know what there doing.. there also part of 'the good garage scheme'. there quote inc all new heatshields, head skimming, all new gaskets, bolts, coolant and oil.. labour only comes to £500...

It may not be slipped liner or block problems, but once the heads are off and if there are any other problems then I cannot afford the repairs... so its a bit of a gamble, sell for £1500 and buy another cheap car, or pay the garage to put it back together costing £1500 and coming away with a...

I have coolant leaking on to what I think the transfer box is... the box to the rear of the gearbox.. its a 4.0 v8... starts to leak about 15 seconds after start up.. i cannot see from above any leaks, and from underneath I cannot really see anything as theres not much room... what could be...

I had a look around the bay and underneath, and its leaking water and dripping down on the box to the rear of the transfer box underneath, cant really tell where its leaking from...heater? inlet gasket? Gonna give Fortune a call tommorow.. they charge £60 an hour labour I think anyway
