No fluid under it... not clutch fluid anyway! Is there a bleed nipple on the slave and master then? Did look under it Sunday for any signs of fluid.. but was just mud! But don't really know what I am looking at other than xfer box and gearbox. Think the slave is 1 side of gearbox right?

Hi... So was out laning the other day and on way home as I came off motorway and onto roundabout I noticed the clutch felt really low. Since then has been difficult to engage gear, sometimes worse than others. So bad at 1 point the day after that I stuck it in reverse and it started moving...

It's still in the head, I didn't realise at first and tried to put the new plug in and it didn't push it through so I think it is wedged. Don't think a magnet will work but it is still worth a shot first I think.

Yeah I've been thinking about a telescopic magnetic thing, I think the tip might be wedged though but thats worth a shot first. Might nip to homebase

Update, glow plug still stuck :frusty: But its running now, it was a loose live connection to the starter causing it to cut out when it tried to draw any power. Well I did have it running without the plug in and it didn't fire the tip out so think it is a head off job! How is easy it? Looks...

Right so there is voltage to the glow plug feed I found that on TDs there is no relay you hold the ignition in a certain position and then a light comes on. Which it does. But now for some reason when I try and start it just clicks and all lights go out as if someones pulled the battery out...

Don't have any welding gear, can't weld! well technically never tried been looking at doing a welding course I've got one of those nutsert tools, that might work I might have to buy some square nuts and try holding with a pair of pliers from underneath. :frusty:

Couple of these were used holding RRC seats in my 110. Had to take the pass seat out to get proper access to the battery box and had to grind one off as the bolts were seized. Could just use M8 nuts but there is very little access underneath to get a socket in. Anyone know if you can buy...
