Hi, I acquired a td4 Freelander 1 from a friend as they were scrapping it. I have a 1.8k that needs a new back box. Could I swap them over as the td4 one is in great condition. If I can would it require any mod, anything to know if it will fit ? Thanks

Hi Steve, I need to replace the same piece of trim due to a dreaded leak. Can you explain how you got your trim off. When I tried taking mine off I snapped it in two. I have now got to remove some from another Freelander and really don’t want to break one again. Cheers pal

Hi guys, I need to change my cam cover gasket. Never done it before. Is it just the one gasket that needs changing or will I have to replace any other gasket in the process. cheers

Hi hippo, it’s rusted the metal bracket that sits under the top trim. Found the bits on John craddock. £200 + so might try to find some second hand bits.

Oh it’s happening alright, might just get a pump and some fish make a feature out the dam thing. If @Hippo could help that would be great

So a while ago my catalytic converter exploded on me. I recently replaced it but now the steady amber engine warning light is still on. I have replaced the emissions lead from the cat and it’s still on. Without taking it to the garage how can I cancel this light. It’s driving me mad. Thank you.
