… After 4 pages of “I want a D3”, and then culminating in “I’m not getting a LR for a few years” 🙄

Had to remove 4 x glowplugs from my TD4 2005 recently. None moved and I know, from a bench test of a broken one, that they snap at 30 ftlb. I didn't want to break them so trawled for techniques that might work. This one looked reasonable and it...

Freddie17 replied to the thread is this noise a driveshaft problem?.
No - you can just undo the clamps holding them onto the subframe. You can get the bushes on/off with the bar in place. Before that, you might be able to find the source of your 'knock' by just prying around with a crow bar...

You can look up the exact part number you need here... https://parts.jaguarlandroverclassic.com/land-rover-freelander-parts/ Did you ever get Pscan or similar on it to check the sensors, as advised previously?

Range anxiety is not an issue for normal EV's which have a better range and can fast charge at 100kW or higher. I could drive to Dublin and home again in my MG5 with nothing more than a 10 or 15 minute breakfast or lunch stop. Many EV's like...

I've now found a YT video showing exactly the process of upgrading mirrors..... I didn't even realise the ribbed ones don't even fold back, so modifying the newer ones looks like the way to go.

Does it ‘knock’ when turning, or when going over bumps?
