    Possibly the hole the ball-joint goes into has been deformed so it just wrecks the new ball-joint? Or someone fitted Britpart.

    Happy to report after almost a year she’s still oil tight at the front seal. I think Speedi Sleeves are a good solution to worn seal running surfaces.

    Yesterday i took my 1999 P38 for MOT at 2.45 pm and by 3.30 i drove it out with a pass. Not bad seeing it hasnt been on the road for 5 years but before it went in i had to replace 5 bulbs but that was all today i taxed it.

    The BEEP number BEEP of BEEP beeps will BEEP tell you how many BEEPing faults you have. If i recall 2 bulbs for the LCD backlight and the other warning lights are individual bulbs

    Low key fob battery has pinged up now. Are the batteries just needed for remote CDL? Won't effect starting or owt.? Might be a couple of days until I can get new ones .

    LEDs are often directional, the cheap kits are usually garbage. Please, PLEASE don't change it to blue, it'll look sh*te! I'd stick with the proper bulbs, they go black over time anyway and with a fresh set of bulbs you'll probably be...

    Replacing the motor didn't fix it, can't clear the pot fault so I unsoldered the pot off the blend motor kermie gave me and swopped that out with the newish pot fitted last year? Cant check them as my dvm has died,and that seems to have fixed it...

    I've tested one of the motors you gave me with a 9v battery, spins nice and quiet, just tested the one on the car and it spins fine but is noticeably noiser. So I've just soldered your motor to my board. There isn't enough room to work on the...

    The wiring loom and new speedo cable have been delivered today! So guess what I am going to do the next days! With some luck, I might even get her through TÜV / MOT by months end before our summer vacation! Wish me luck!

    Done a post search and it is this blend motor that was playing up, I fitted a new pot and it was fixed until now. So... either... 1- my soldering leaves a lot to be desired. 2- the new pot has failed. 3- the motor has died. Question..nano says...

    The little legs to the potentiomèter (French keyboard predictive text) get loose from their soldered joints and cause bad feedback relating to their position and can be soldered. It may well be just the case. 👍
