    Cam sensor is my best guess from what I read. Doesn't always generate a fault code so beware. Freezer test is easy and worthwhile.

    Slight hot start issue. Have read it could be cam position sensor or potentially the HP fuel pump, maybe even injectors. I'm capable of doing leak back testsor doing whatever work needs doing but I want to try and get a heads up from diagnostics...

    ahhh ... so there's another bit of plastic which fits to the hose (currently still on the radiator hose in the car) then the two bits clip together and retain with a clip ... right? That makes more sense. Won't have a chance to look until next...

    Well, the original 3 door passed its MOT! Result, will shortly be selling it I think. In the meantime, Rimmers are posting me those parts to tackle the water leak on the commerical along with 2 new rear brake drums / shoes etc. No sealing gasket...
