can i remove this plate , and bash one of axel in place ? This thing is against the gearbox now , all the way , no axle sticking out

fixed my flywheel and it starts very nice now. New problem , Its stuck in 4 low , i cannot move the red handle the yellow handel i can click down or up (spring is not on it yet) But now i have it on 4 wheelchucks , so all wheels spin. but for...

erm ... next time i disconnect my handbrake ..... it poped out wihtout issue now :vb-groan2:

Hello . Yesterday i was struggeling to get my flywheel out. Was fighting for 6 hours but i cannot sepparate the gearbox from engine. All bolts and nuts are loose as far i can see. Did i miss something ?
