Is the modus operandii to remove the cover plate on the pto output then the bearing carrier to reveal the gear then pull it from the casing or is there other works to do first when changing the gear to a new crossdrilled ashcroft unit. John

I bought my three door about eight months ago had good mot but have had to replace boot floor and clutch gave £600 John

Checked all these plus it does it although less so when just revving out off gear it started very quickly within 10 miles mountings have improved it but still noticeable,thanks for the replies. John

My 200tdi has a vibration at exactly 2000rpm most annoying any ideas truck has new engine and gearbox mountings which has improved it but not gone. John

Not entirly true the gear can be cut off as the shaft and gear where already very worn its no real loss and should give the old girl some more life John

Percentage wise there are more landrovers still on the road than any other vehicle i think the reason is first there really is no replacement if you want a proper working all rounder plus even with there issues they are not to bad to fettle. John
