Hi all - I have an RRS L320 with an SAS issue. (SAS, not clock spring). Ive got it apart, and all the teeth are intact, on each wheel, all aligned correctly, and greased. Nothing looks to be blown / an issue visually on either of the small PCB's. Does anyone have info / diagnostics steps...

Hi - speaking as a Range Rover Sport L320 owner, the clock spring is not part of the steering angle circuit. The Steering Angle Sensor (SAS) measures the steering wheel's angle and speed and talks to the ABS system, EAS, and other vehicle systems. The clock spring is just electrical connectors...

Yes, that's fair. I was looking to understand more about the option, and whilst there is at least one solution (mega squirt), for me, now, its more hassle and cost that I want to commit. At least I now know! :)

Yes - I saw the megasquirt page also. Alas their system - which does look to do this - is a lot more than just dizzy cap replacement. It’s the entire wiring loom and ecu (I believe) amongst other components to time the spark etc. I’ll read around megasquirt a bit more, but it’s looking like...

Do it, P38-DFX! I know the kits fit a Discovery or classic RR - not sure about a P38, but with 'a little' engineering, anything is possible. A P38 Dakar would be something id like to see!
