Thanks for the reply. The carter has been removed, but I actually had a few responses elsewhere of a carter on a 2. liter. I too initially thought it was odd. The real question for me, is do you know of a conversion kit? I see them for the later 2.25 and 2.5 motors but none for the 2.0...
