Your TD5 will show these syptoms when the fuel pump has failed or possible fuel line/filter blocked or restricted, it has a default mode limp home which sounds as if it has kicked in, check this out and clear the fault code and it should be fine..

This sounds like a fuel feed problem, check relay, and fuses, fuel filter and pump

Hi TD John I do have cc ecu SCB100211 but I am having trouble finding out where to fit it, I'm trying to locate the connector which should be under the drivers seat somewhere but as yet no luck..any ideas as to where I sould be looking??

It sounds like it could be an ECU fault.. best advice is to get it back to LandRover and don't let them fob you off...with excuse's
