The wheel is the spare from my RR which was separated form the car due to the LPG kit. The car had big OEM wheels (18"??) but I'll check the size out later today (bit tied up this AM).

Have to agree, in fact I've just been out there this evening clearing codes on mine with my home made lead and Storey's software. For referance, mainly for people searching in the future as I doubt this is your problem, my issues were down to the main connector to the valve block being dodgy...

I've no experience of this but have you considered an engine mount as the cause? Does it do it in neutral?

Have a look around here Range Rover EAS Reset Tools . I just finished building a lead according to Story's instructions and maanged to clear the EAS fault on my P38.

Can't help with the operation of the system as I've not had my RR a week yet so I'm still learning. But I can tell you there are rebuild kits for the valve blocks out there for sale. O rings kits are about £25 and diaphrams are a bit more. Not sure on forum rules about name checking suppliers...
