Different part numbers for a start, plus the EFI’s have around four variations over the years, so in my experience I would say no.
My quick search gives the part number you gave as a 200Tdi pump, you need PRC9409 pump for the twin carb V8...
You may find the item is identical to the 300 series D1 hole in the centre for both vehicles, the parts catalogue for both show similar part numbers for RH & LH side.
Just googled Texecom Premier Elite 24 and I see its a basic panel, I haven't looked at the engineers install manual or the user manual but somewhere the should be the information u require or not.
If not then there’s standalone devices around...
I not familiar with the Texecom product, but does it feature a wifi or ethernet link to you broadband router, if so and you have the compatible app on your device and connected to the internet you will be able receive an an indication of an alarm...
Could be similar to the disco from the same era, if they over heated the fan would switch as a safety measure. But unfortunately the disco required plugging to a diagnostic computer to reset the system controlling the fan.
It’s the other way around, the ECU completes the 12v supply circuit to the fuel pump relay.
The ECU provides the relay ground at the terminal 16 (blue-purple) wire… according to my 3.5 wiring diagram the terminal is 85 at the pump relay.
The...
So you don’t use the drivers door, which I imagine thats the most common point to lock/unlock a vehicle.
So does the using of the passenger door lock set and unsets the security system ok i.e central locking?
If all things were equal, then...
Thats a long while to be looking for earth cables 😊
Battery to inner wing then engine, body etc fo example, the cables will be thick black or braided, a workshop manual may help.
Have a look at Disco Sport sales/accessories brochure which can picked up from a main dealers showroom to see what goodies are available for that vehicle, you’ll then have an idea on what is available in the ‘aftermarket accessories’.
I can zoom up to the full screen size on my iPad and still clear, so strange you can’t enlarge on whatever device u have.
I can send you a link to the D2 electrical workshop manual, if you wish…
Just remembered there will be kink already posted...
The D2 wiring diagram I posted in #4 above shows the tweeter spliced into the front loudspeaker, also states “speaker high range A post” which is the position in the D1 when fitted so the same as other vehicles I've known.
Even when Ive fitted...
Ok I took it that the two conductors was black the other was colour for each speaker.
Below is a wiring diagram, so you will have to put a meter on check the carrier voltage etc.
Or with the speaker connected plus sound the speaker diaphragm...
Black wire is neg -
Depending on your vehicles spec D2s can have additional speaker in the front door card, the lower one is bass, the upper smaller one is mid range therefor there will be an amplifier installed to power all the loud speakers...
Fortunately now JLR vehicles have a dash display in the menu with an expected mileage before topping up is required.
But you will still get a dash warning that a top up is required.
If you still unsure then just top up the Adblue tank yourself...
What year is it? 10P/15P?
Assume you have done the fuel purge? How about air bleed valve?
Also you shouldn't be using any throttle to start it
If you post here also then more knowledgable people than me will be along I expect...
Ok that’s more than likely with that year of disco.
My 87 RR had central locking but only via key in the drivers door lock.
If you wish to go the remote route than you will a kit with ECU and 2x fobs and master actuator, which i used with my...
As the standard exhaust system at the tail end is shielded from the fuel tank by the the chassis which ever side of the vehicle it exits, so the joint for the two pipes plus the balance pipe would somewhere at the gearbox cross member area.
V8...
I haven’t a clue either, the vehicle didn’t leave the factory like that.
So, what model year is your D1as their are two central locking systems… the 200 series or 300 series both have a master actuator plus a slave in the remaining doors...
Nope haven’t got a clue, even after 27 years of owning my UK spec D1
But what your looking for is arrowed in the photo below, which of course shows a RHD vehicles location of the port when it left the factory.
No2 is a water proof wire connector, just remover the seal (rubber band) and twist pull to open if u haven’t done it so far, if not leave it if the circuit through it proves ok, old stuff has a habit of breaking when touched😊
My 1987 3.5 RR had...
Hi to you also.
As you mentioned “dust” then I would expect air filters to be inspected more frequently and change as required. Cooling and all the stuff involved in the vehicles cooling system to be 100% all the time, here in the uk we use an...
The early RRs had the rear spring option what was called a “Police specification option” for additional weight carrying.
D1 had anti roll bars and also had the rear spring option now simply called “HD” for additional weight carrying...
HID headlamps are a non-standard addition therefore the LR circuit diagram won't be applicable, but u can start checking the additional HID kit that will be installed somewhere at the front near the headlamps I suspect.
Then as HID are not legal...
I don't suppose there is, but i’m sure the engine will let you know that there’s an issue with its camshaft… Tap Tap Tap😊
My 10 year old 3.5 RR engine did at 110k miles, but was fixed by my friendly LR dealer. So with a few other an niggly...
