Thanks for the help and advice guys. I have spoken to couple of experts and they have said that the wheels and tyres will increase the where on the bearings, so they need to be checked and greased on a regular basis to stop this happening again. The bearings have not been checked in 2 years...

So the plan to get me home sounds like. Remove the prop and leave it in Diff lock and go home realy steady.

Not sure. Where to start to narrow it down. I lost all drive then put it into diff lock and limped it home. But did here a funny noise from the front left. Hence why i suspect drive shaft or cv etc. The axle in the back is complete so would just do a straight swap. Calipers the lot.

I have a complete axle but no jack or axle stands so I think it will either be a complete axle change or strip the left corner and swop the lot out.
