I just checked and we have been using Britpart cheapest aswell. They are a bit poor but since they are not safety item it doesn't really matter.

One thing I found is if the bulb was loose in the holder due to poor tolerances a couple of well place matchstick would solve the issue.

This was also my experience before swapping to LED. I treated them as disposable and when a bulb blew replaced the whole unit for fractionally more than just new bulb! Fog lights were the worst for it and required a good strip and clean before...

Oh, by the way India is probably marginally better than China. Many genuine Land Rover parts are made in India.

No one as far as I can tell. The Wipac ones work and the lenses are cheap so you can change them every few years or when they fade.

I will be renewing all 8 of the lamps on my 1993 Defender 110. I don't want to use LED units, however I also don't want those awful 'Made in India' ones. So my questiion is: who makes a decent quality set of lamps..? Many thanks, for any...
