Forgive my ignorance, which seal causes this problem? Must be the seal between the axle and the swivel ball right? Cos iv replaced both sides since I changed the diff oil last time

So your not getting fuel to the filter? Is the new pump faulty? Have you checked for power to the pump? Can't you hear it trying to prime? When I change the fuel filter on my td5 I don't have to pump the pedal, it just buzzes when the ignition is switched on then it'll start when the buzzing...

Hmmm interesting. Back axle and transfer box came out looking great front axle black as Guinness. Something is amiss. I'm going ahead with swapping stub axle seals.

What's the door like mate, I need a new one but arnt they the old style? Did your door card and wiper motor fit?

Right gents I changed both diff and transfer oils last night. Rear diff and t box's oils came out treacle coloured the front jet black. Like engine oil. The level was ok, I.e not raised. Has it mixed with swivel grease? It's an 03 90. Is it any thing to worry about? Any thoughts? Cheers Dave

My thoughts are, regular changes are the most important thing. My motor had syntrax In the gearbox when I bought it and it was truly awful. So I changed to mtf94 and to be honest it wasn't much better so I tried ATF, and it's ok now, I just change it often. Oil filters are a pain!

Mtf94 or ATF dextron 3 for t'gearbox Ep80/90 for the t/box and axles

Mines the same did em both last year with britpart bits. My theory is iv never heard of one breaking on the road or with mild off roading. It seems to be these boys who like to wheelie at the top of inclines who break them. To my mind with normal use they should be fine. Watch someone will...

It didn't you know, they had a plastic panel built into the seat, no damaged fabrics here mate! Wouldn't have blown them if it was going to split the searts

Well I joined the wires to a car battery via a long piece of twin core and safely disposed of the airbags. Cut the bags off and tucked the panels back in, job done Got the passenger seat fitted, great improvement comfort wise.
