Thought I might put some fuel in mine, again!

Check the power supply/earth leads are tight on the Becm unit under the drivers seat. I had numerous problems with mine when I bought it including the fault you describe, turned out to be a loose connection!!!

Where is this RF receiver located? My DSE also drains the battery very slowly.

Thanks for that info. I removed the RH tail light cover and found an aerial connection that was rusted so unplugged it and gave it a bit of a clean, hey presto, good radio reception again. Thanks again. Dan.

I have one of these fitted. PSI Power Power Pack Discovery TD5 - UNIT ONLY It was on the car when I bought it so cant comment on the improvement over standard. Fuel consumption is around 17mpg round town though and I dont drive it hard!!!!

I have the PSI box but it was already on when I bought the car so cant offer any advice to standard performance.

Check the power/earths on the BeCM unit under the drivers seat.

Check the power supply and earths to the BECM are all tight. I had numerous problems and found the main power supply cable was loose. Everything now works as it should.

TBH, mine was fitted when I bought the car so not sure. All multi plugs are different so you shouldnt be able to plug it in wrong. I think the vac pipe will go onto the inlet manifold.

Split the multi plug under the inlet manifold and insert in the box/wiring (thats how mines fitted).

Sorry to thread hijack. I have straight through pipes instead of back box's (twin). Anyone round Sheffield area want to swap em for back boxes?? I have a 97 2.5 DSE
