Looking for a driver's seat base in county brown landrover 90 / defender . ?????

3.5 efi flapper engine . Starts off the key ... ticks over nicely fuel pressure at 9th injector off plenum is 32 ish idle and 36ish revving ... new leads and cap and rotor . Cleaned all I injectors oil flush ... new oil .. rad flush .... etc etc . As soon as driven it feels like 4 plugs fallen...

3.5 started .. starts off the key .. ticks over smooth .... as soon as driven starts bogging down and farting and belching .... foot to floor try to pick up and go ... then cough and splutters ...

It's I a hybrid not sure of age as listed as 1972 series 3 . Imagine late 80s early 90s.I have booked a mobile mechanic for 4 hrs to see if can get a fresh perspective and Start from beginning and guess work our way through .

We have a 3.9 sort of built trialer with a 3.9 never any issues . The other hybrid we bought with a 3.5 efi has never run right since we bought it .... bad starting .. rough running ... no power and sluggish ... **** idle all over the place . Starts one day and then never again until it feels...

Read a bit on this but everyone seems to track off into other issues . Is this a straight swap ? What might I need to have ? Need ? 3.9 out of a manual and 3.5 is auto ? Feeling head gasket gone on 3.5 despite all its other issues and offered a 3.9 for £150 Cheers
