My view as well. I don’t have anything on my 110. My belief is it was just for the seatbelts so they went to the chassis rather than Ali tub floor.

That may be true. But plenty of places don’t want to work on them because they are heavy and dirty, when I first got mine my long trusted family garage said they wouldn’t swap the clutch on it because it was too heavy a job. Also at that age you...

The current handle does not fully actuate the lever that grabs onto the door jam. As a result the door does not fully close or at all . I was able to remove the housing for the lock, at the expense of the lock in general, and install. Works great.

I would certainly try that first before drilling the door. If it doesn’t work out you buy a new lock. H oh is much cheaper than buying a new door if that doesn’t work out! Out of interest what is wrong with your current lock. Usually a good...

As all the lock is is a sleeve to take a barre that then interacts with the mechanism in the flat section I would have a good guess that you could just cut off the lock sleeve carefully and have no impact on the latch mechanism itself. However it...

I did not think t-wash was a true etch though hence I still used an etch primer on things that were getting a body coloured top coat. Everythign else is zinc 182 for as much protection as posisble.
