Sometimes it nice and quite in neutral with the foot off the pedal. Some times its very very chattery. The gearbox sound and works perfectly when im moving. and there is no sound if the clutch is pressed in. Only in neutral with the clutch out.

94 300 tdi Disco with 158,000 on the clock. Ive just worked it out 300 miles at 95p per litre =42 litres = 32.47 mpg and my Disco thows out black smoke every time you set off from stand still and every time i put my foot down. Just think how good that would be if i got it fixed.
