Afraid not, seems to be locked solid

Tried rocking & shaking seat to no avail, it is locked solid !

Hi, I need to fold the driver seat forward on a Defender 90 TD5, to change the seat belt. The side lever is stuck, tried penetrating oil to no avail. Anyone have a trick how to free this up ?

Thanks I didn’t know that. I was concerned I would have to put the back, took me ages to remove them & fit storage instead.

I did not know what to expect hence the question. I was unsure whether I would need to return the seating to the original. Your first paragraph addresses my question & thank you. The second paragraph is an open question.

i have removed 2 of the 4 rear seats in my TD5 90 and made storage boxes in their place. MOT is now due, anyone know what the position is with this change ?

It is a replaceable bolt, gring ?

This is what happens when you secure stuff, there are 6 of these to remove. Don’t want to be in a position of buggering up one and deciding what can’t remove the rest ☹️

Don’t think I will be able to get to the bolt head as that is behind roof rack clamp. Will have a look tomorrow thanks

I have Shear nuts on my roof rack after having had a previous one stolen. However I now want to remove it to fit roof bars. How do I get the roof rack off ?
