Ah ,ok thanks for the info, could be a microswitch stopping it synicing from the door then.

its usually unplugged but i made sure i plugged it back in for all the sync attempts, must be a microswitch but it did unlock all doors when i turn key in door so should be ok, either way atleast i can easily just sync from the ignition now.

That procedure didn't work, tried all versions of it , the only way it synced was through the ignition after turning immobiliser on.

Oh and also I can deactivate the immobiliser again after the sync and they key fob still works so will just have to remember next time I disconnect the battery to turn the immobiliser on just to sync the key.

Looks like the immobiliser being deactivated also deactivated the sync coil in the ignition barrel

hi old turbo was leaking oil so there is a little oil in the intercooler , might try and get it out and give a clean sometime.

On the old engine I got the modulation spot on and it had the same issue, the pump was leaking so I put it down to the fip but the new engine came with a fip and still has same issue.

Mine was at around 87c, modulation is worse on my mates one and that unlocks the tc at like 50% throttle

Modulation is around 70% so a little high but not the worst

Also forgot to mention, EGR had been removed so not an EGR ussue

It's also weird it dosnt want to unlock torque converter unless I'm on full throttle, does it look at throttle position or is it some sort of power calculation?
