hi im back again this time with good news. spent all afternoon fault finding an it turns out it woz the rear lp pump that woz causing me all the problems. it woz running but not pumping anything? anyway sourced a new 1 for £144 including vat from lr parts speke and its running as good as new...

no i woz talking about the fuel injector pump? the lp pump under rear arch is definately making a noise but will check 2 see if anythins coming out? could the alarm /immobiliser cause any issues?

would giving this pump a tap start it 4 a bit? were am i supposed 2 tap it? thanks again 4 all your replys im determined 2 get to the bottom of this

im back again. rite this is were im up 2. cam sensor removed freeze sprayed replaced still no joy. injector leak test followed the procedure for the mg as linked above an no leaks from injectors:) question when iv removed the hose that goes into the top of all 4 injectors how much diesel should...

rite iv freeze sprayed the cam sensor with no joy gonna do the leak test on injectors an will report back in abit

the engine does fire up using easy start but dies once it runs out

after reading this its pointing me in the direction of a new camshaft sensor? any1 no the best place to get 1 from?

iv already changed the fuel filter 8 months ago an local garage confirmed all filters are clear? come on sum 1 must had similar problems im getting desperate now lol
