No, in the iGuide app, all it says is 'here's your cup holder, you can remove it or cover it and there is storage underneath it'

It is possible its for a smart phone, but, to use CarPlay it must be plugged in the centre console and for the wireless charging it is under the nav system, so seems a bit strange.

Does anyone know the significance of the shape of the cupholders in the Discovery Sport? I'm intrigued by the cut-out at the bottom and the obvious 'slot' in the design. See attached image. Thanks
