I have been retro fitting air con to my 95 300tdi the pipes all fit, however the return pipe from the evap to the compressor is routed upwards. Although it fits, it also touches the underneith of the bonnel this causes the aircon to howel at 3000rpm. Has anyone got some pictures of the engine...

can i remove the R380 and replace for a ZF box as long as i have the selector and kick down link? are the transfer boxes the same for the manual/auto?:confused:

thanks mr jc, what is busterbus? any idea what the thread was called? Is the filler cap the only vent for the fuel tank? In addition, would we expect the tank to draw vacuum (as fuel is used)? i'm not sure how so much pressure could build up.

Hi Redhand, no not checked the vent, do you know where this is on a 90? Would the pressurisation cause the sudden high reving with knocking?
