1st thing i would say is get a hub spanner its like a 42mm scket because if you have left it for as long as i have the nut gets jammed on and will take u all day to hit off with a hammer and chisle. other than that its quite easy. theres plenty of tips on the internet if you get stuck

Hi Guys, well straight to the point my passenger front bearing collapsed plus when i pulled it apart the half shaft has snapped too. so after taking ages and ages to get the hub off i finally did it but now i noticed the shaft that the bearing and hub go on has gone like an egg shape and wont...

hi again guys still not getting anywere with this poxy hub. cannot get it to move. ive tryed putting the half shaft on the wrong way so i can put the bolts in and pull the hub out but the heads are hitting the lip on the flange. this is really getting to me now as its been off the road for...

good advise will try and look for a chain now. and with it being on just the floor jack is i havnt got any axle stands here, im being carful and not putting my head anywere near it lol. really annoying me now as this is all i have to get off and i can start putting it all back together...

nope just tried hitting it with a hammer, put the wheel back on and tried kicking it again from underneath and still wont budge, its shaking but not coming off :frusty:

the half shaft is out, locking nut on the hub off, washer off, the next nut off. the hub is shaking but it wont come off theresn nothing else holding it on it just wont slip off???
