Mine suffers with exactly the same and even though it seemed as if it was cranking fine, a full overnight charge on the battery cured it....

Preferably in good condition to house a standard low line mounting winch and not a ridiculous distance from Bedfordshire....

I would also recommend Ian at Land Rover Specialist, Repairs, service, Servicing, Wellingborough, Northampton, Northamptonshire - had a great experience there and very competitive rates.

I went through 4x4 off road insurance - Frank Pickles and my policy reduced with the more mods that went on - well worth a call but I think it helps to be a weekend toy rather than a daily driver... Mine is £167 inc green laning...

Certainly try 4x4 off road insurance - Frank Pickles - , not sure if they work with you lucky young buggers but the cost of mine went down with mods :)

Likewise, pictures needed ! Congratulations - I struggled finding a decent TD5 as well and have a very similar beast to yours.... Rear windows, benches etc and mine is already starting to look like the Defender vision :-)

There is no legal requirement for a spare wheel at all - loads of new cars arrive with Tyrefit only these days...
